Collaboration with various artists, designers and researchers @HarvardCAMLab

Exhibition: Hunan Museum, Changsha, Hunan, China
06.08.2024 - 02.16.2025

The Mawangdui tombs contain the world’s oldest well-preserved human body that is un-mummified, showcasing the extravagant funerary practices and views of the afterlife in early China.

Collaborating with Hunan Museum, which holds the Mawangdui tombs' archaeological finds, the CAMLab team seeks to unveil new insights into the tomb's design principles.

This project develops new exhibition prototypes to demonstrate the sophisticated art of life in the Mawangdui tombs. Using emerging media technologies, the team is creating a multi-space, multimedia exhibition combining immersive theater and digital installations to reveal the tombs' imagination and philosophy of life to modern audiences.
